Who We Are

- History

Exporganic S.A. is an organic produce exporting company located in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It started operations at the end of 2005 as the organic branch of Exporgrup S.A. which manages conventional fruit exports since 1999. It was created in order to serve the growing organic market worldwide.

Exporganic S.A. is in charge of marketing organic production of several farmers from different regions of Ecuador, being organic bananas the most important item offered.

We have developed our own brands: Friendly® Bananas, and Sunrise® Bananas which we are sure will soon be available throughout the world. We can also pack using our customers’ brands and packing conditions and details.

We are also working with other fruits and produce like pineapples, mangoes, plantains, yuca, malanga, etc.
- Goals

We are in business in order to provide the best possible products to our international customers, while helping local farmers obtain the best possible payment for the hard work and effort placed into the whole production process. This way we help them maintain and improve their way of living, which is many times precarious.

- Commitment with our planet

One of our main directives is to keep in mind that we need to respect and take care of our environment. We are aware that our lives depend on it, thus we have to do whatever is in our hands in order to help maintain it. We instruct every farmer we deal with and to give them the knowledge needed to understand that the future of the world depends on how we treat and manage our natural resources today. At the same time by applying the principles of organic farming they decrease the chances of their health being affected by the use of dangerous chemicals that would eventually hurt them and their families.

- Organic Documentation

Exporganic S.A. is certified as Organic Exporter by CERES GMBH of Germany for trade of organic products in the European Union as well as NOP for exports to the United States of America.

Our partner farmers are certified Organic Producers by several recognized international certification bodies.


- Quality

Our commitment to our customers and potential customers is to offer the best possible products from the best possible sources. We buy directly from the farmer, thus assuring the freshest product and the best quality. We keep direct control over the whole harvesting and packing process, to ensure every single box is treated like it is worth a million bucks. Then we ship under excellent conditions and controlled environment in order to withstand any distance until it reaches its final destination.
